Philadelphia, like many older cities, is faced with abandoned lots due to population loss. Since 1998, the City and OHCD have worked closely with the Pennsylvania Horticultural Society PHS to clean and green vacant lots and transform them into neighborhood assets.

  1. I have a lot that I want to donate. It could be a nice garden. I am a senior and on a fixed income and cannot afford the tax. I have no need for the lot’ Who can I donate it to? It is located in Germantown,

      Hi, Ironically my name is Ed Morris. You could donate it to me and I will make it a garden, or something that you would be proud of. I love Philadelphia and am beginning a plan to improve a lot of properties.
